Jaraby Thomas was born in Panama City, Panama and has lived in Riverhead Township for more than 10 years.

She graduated from Cambridge International High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from the University Del Istmo in Panama. She won a scholarship from the Organization of American States (OAS) and has a Master's Degree in Neuropsychology and Education from Spain.

Thomas’s career experience includes working as a manager at a technology company as well as an administrator at a local real estate company. She has served as an employee of Riverhead Central School District for more than a decade and is currently a Library Media Specialist Aide in the High School.

She is very involved in education and enjoys working with children that have special needs and bilingual children. As a member of the Riverhead Community, she believes there should be new projects to protect our environment and fair and affordable housing.

She strongly feels that our Town will really benefit from the economic development at Epcal that will also help with tax benefits and add jobs to our community. If elected as Town Assessor, she will be committed to work for the residents to give fair and honest assessments to all.
